WELS is the abbreviation of the Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme of Australia, which is a mandatory requirement for products to be exported to Australia.
[Products involved]
Faucet, shower equipment, flow controller, toilet, urinal
[Test standard]
AS/NZS6400:2016+A1:2022
AS/NZS6400 has made relevant provisions on the standards for star classification, product type classification, how to affix WELS labels, and how to make WELS labels. For product testing requirements, 6400 describes them by referencing the corresponding standards of the product. For example, the test requirements for WELS certification of faucets are to meet the relevant test requirements of AS/NZS 3718. Therefore, for those who have been certified by Watermark and tested by relevant Australian standards, there is no need to conduct additional tests according to the 6400 standard.
