Attestation de Conformite Sanitaire

ACS certification (Attestation de Conformate Sanitaire) is the compulsory certification of all products in contact with residents' drinking water by the French Ministry of Health. The testing requirements mainly refer to the standards issued by the Association Francaise de Normalization (for example, refer to XP P 41-250-1, - 2 and - 3 for materials, and XP P41-280 for finished products).

French health law stipulates that the quality of drinking water in the whole process from production to delivery to consumers is assessed by the measurement of sensory, physical and chemical and microbial indicators. In addition, in order to ensure the absolute safety of water quality in the entire water network, the revised law adds other indicators, such as pesticides and related products, foreign matters and toxic substances (heavy metals, etc.).

On May 29, 1997, the Ministry of Health of France issued relevant laws, mandating that all products involving domestic water should pass laboratory tests to ensure that the taste, smell, conventional physical and chemical indicators and microbial indicators of water will not be affected or changed. Products meeting the above standards are awarded with ACS health certificate. Only products with ACS health certificate can be sold in the French market.
