UPC/CUPC certification is a very authoritative certification for sanitary products and building materials in the United States and Canada. UPC means uniform piping code, and "C" before it means that it conforms to Canadian standards. This certification is issued by the American International Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation Machinery Certification Association (IAPMO).
Note: When applying for UPC/CUPC certification, drinking water contact parts or products shall meet both NSF61 and low lead standards (NSF372 or AB1953)

[Certification Process]
1. Customers conduct UPC/cUPC certification consultation;
2. Make test quotation according to the drawings and other data provided by the customer;
3. Sign the contract and send the sample preparation requirements, required data and other documents to the customer;
4. Submit certification application materials (explosion drawings, marking drawings, installation instructions, information of water passing parts, etc.);
5. Submit samples for testing;
6. Contact the agency for factory audit;
7. After the test is completed, submit the test report and product samples to the certification authority;
8. The certification authority will issue a certificate after reviewing the data (the certificate is valid for 5 years).
Certification period: about 3-4 months.

(1) Annual factory review and sampling test are required;
(2) Annual fee is required every year.
