The certification of water-saving products is a certification activity confirmed and passed by the China Quality Certification Center in accordance with relevant standards and technical requirements since 2002. The legal basis for carrying out the certification of water-saving products is the Water Law of the People's Republic of China, the Administrative Measures for Urban Water Conservation and other laws and regulations. The scope of certification includes industrial water treatment, urban water use, agricultural irrigation and drainage, and the use of non-traditional water resources.
Definition of products related to drinking water safety:
The Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China defines safe products related to drinking water, that is, materials and chemicals such as water transmission and distribution pipes and water storage containers that come into contact with water during the production and supply of drinking water, mainly including:
1. Water transmission and distribution equipment: pipes, pipe fittings, water storage containers (including water tanks), water stop materials;
2. Protective materials: coating and lining;
3. Water treatment materials: filter element, membrane module and activated carbon of water quality processor;
4. Chemical treatment agents: coagulant, polyelectrolyte, PH regulator, coagulant aid, disinfectant, fluoride, algaecide, mineralizer, new chemicals;
5. General water quality processors: activated carbon water purifier, membrane filter water purifier, water purifier plus disinfection components, special water purifier (such as fluoride and arsenic removal), and other household water purifiers;
6. Purified water processor: reverse osmosis water filter, nanofilter, ion exchange water device, electrodialysis water device, distilled water device;
7. Large water quality processor: refers to a water quality treatment device that is large and not portable for group use

The mode of China's water-saving product certification rules is: product inspection+initial factory inspection+supervision after certification

2. Product inspection;
3. Initial factory inspection;
4. Evaluation and approval of certification results;
5. Supervision after obtaining the certificate;
6. Enterprises that have passed the re examination of water-saving product certification certificate upon expiration can use the Chinese water-saving product certification mark on relevant products.
