WaterMark health standard AS/NZS 4020: 2018 version has been released. Since May 1, 2019, old test reports and certificates need to be retested according to 2018 version, and new applications need to be tested according to 2018 version.

AS/NZS 4020:2018 specifies tests to analyze the suitability of products for contact with potable water and their impact on water quality. This is the requirement for applying for WaterMark certification. AS/NZS 4020:2018 testing focuses only on components in contact with potable water. It is applicable to metal and non-metallic products, such as pipes, faucets, fittings, components, hot water installations and materials used for coating, protection, lining, connection, sealing and lubrication applications in the water supply and pipeline industry.
