1、 Product scope
All faucets except thermostatic faucets, with sizes ranging from DN6 to DN50, shall be used in an environment not exceeding 80 ℃, and the working pressure when opening shall not exceed 500kPa.
2、 Materials
1. All water passing copper alloy materials must conform to CEN/TS 13388 or the following standards:
(1) Castings: AS 1565, EN 1982 or ASTM B584, with lead content less than 4.5%;
(2) Forgings: AS/NZS 1568;
(3) Copper bar: AS/NZS 1567;
(4) Tubular parts: grade C26130 of AS 1572. If bending or stamping is required during processing, stress corrosion test in accordance with ISO 6957, pH9.5 is also required.
2. All pressure bearing copper alloy parts must meet the dezincification resistance test requirements of AS 2345.
3. Water passing stainless steel must conform to ASTM A276 (forged) or ASTM A269 (tubular): 304, 304L, 304LN, 316, 316L, 316Ti, UNS S31806 (2205). At the same time, the requirements of pitting resistance (PREN) shall be met.
3、 Major changes
1. Changes in classification and durability test cycle of additional water shutoff devices;
2. Add requirements for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility of electric faucet;
3. Add the durability test of the rotation or rotation outlet;
4. Additional informative finishing and coating information, including PVD coating;
5. Revised seal test, high pressure test, life test, etc.
